With more than 20 years of experience in education, Laurie Roper, M.S. is an exciting presenter and coach / advisor who has been internationally recognized for her work in the field of special education.
As a resource teacher, she has worked extensively with a broad range of students with disabilities as well as teaching gifted students, at both the middle school and high school levels.
Her vast experience includes working in suburban and urban environments and at highly diverse schools. During her career, Laurie has been responsible for coordinating and providing staff development for parents, teachers, and psychologists in the school systems of New York City, London, England, and Phoenix, Arizona.
Laurie was a popular guest on radio talk shows in Long Island, NY, CT, and NJ, on subjects including fostering student independence, setting meaningful goals and objectives, spiritual parenting, and the use of universal principles to create tangible results in your life.
